In preparation for getting your license in western countries, getting the driving license history document from Riyadh KSA, would make it easier to convince the any licensing officer and also use this document as proof that you had enough experience in driving especially in the middle east.
First go to any licensing offices in Riyadh where you got your license, in my case I got mine in Dallah driving school in Takashushi, which is located at: Dallah School Location.
Go to the licensing building within the compound and be queue in line getting inside. Just remember to have your google translate ready as most of the officers and guards have little knowledge of English, and make your life easier. What you need is the document which shows the detailed report of your driving history, like your name, issue date, renewal date, and validity of your license, ect. In Arabic it is called " Taqrir Mufasal" (detailed report). Once inside, you need to be patient and keep on talking/asking to the officers that are shouting the names of the renewed licenses, as they will keep on ignoring you, but eventually they will give in and provide you the document you need.
Once they had acknowledge you and your requirement, show him your translate app and show him the document you need. He will then require your driving license as reference to input to the computer. Once he had your history on his screen he will give you your license back and print out one page document showing all of your history regarding your license. Don't forget to get it stamped and signed by the officer once you got your print out as it will be a valid document for it is signed.
Once you get your driving history document, it will be all in Arabic and it's best to have it translated by a licensed translator to English so that when you present it, it will be all in English.
Good luck !!
