Cherish everything that is good

This was a fun time.....I always think that every blessing you recieve should be cherished and thanked for.... for sometimes it will be gone, and it will not be there for a while, and you will ask someone, somewhere why is this happening. The answer is everything is done for a reason.

Guilty as Charged

I feel so bad having been an insturment that my cad operator was fired today. I wanted to help him out anyway that I can, I do some of his work just to keep my group in good condition. But eventually I have to do some engineering work as well, so I can't help it if I wanted to finish on time. I don't like to be late, because it reflects my performance in managing my production. In the end its the result that counts. Well that's life.... tomorrow is another day.

I had this for 3 days, and it was cool driving this truck in different places here in the desert. How I wish prices of fuel are the same here back home. Only 50 Hala hala(local centavo in KSA) per liter.....damn....

Sorry guys, I have been busy at work I was unable to update my blog....here are some of my recent activities...

I am still here at work and doing overtime work. Well if you're here there is not much else left for you to do but work. So better get paid doing what you like........

Iqama is here!!

At last I got my residence ID here or what they call Iqama. It's a citizen's ID indicating that you have permission to stay in KSA for the duration indicated in your residence permit. Now I can buy an unlimited internet connection and send money back home......

Table transferee

Today I got transfered to the adjacent room, seems descent. If you're really working on site, there is no permanent office, even a table will be spun around........

Jerks

Sometimes you have to draw the line between being good and teaching them a lesson. When guys don't know what they are doing is wrong sometimes you have to tell them. When it was midnight still 2 of the guys are still out. But I have to close the doors for our own security. Then thay came after midnight, was pissed off disturbing my sleep. Then this morning this guys are so insensitive that they don't even clean their own mess. F*#k!!!!!............

R&R

Thank God weekend is already here, time for a little R&R, maybe watch a little movie at home and surf the net. Time to relax from work the whole week.......

Panda Bear

This evening I saw Hyper Panda here in Riyadh. I was with my flat mates doing some shopping for some food and stuff. We were there for a short time and finished our business because the store has to close for 45 minutes because of evening prayers. My sole purpose is to convert my dollars to local riyals.

Dinner with the Boss

I had a dinner with the boss, we went to Lapaz Batchoy in Riyadh. Good to eat home made dishes again. Need to bond with the guys at work to ensure teamwork with the group. I was offered a ride to drive, I said yes, and why not, well let's see and if we can get it........

We Can Dream Again

Today while at work I seemed very optimistic about the future of my home country. The first state of the nation address was conducted in the lower house, which makes good sense. Put an end to all issues and then move forward, to one common goal. Both the lower house and the senate are in line with the new regime, which makes moving forward easier (hopefully!!!) and make each citizen proud of his home country. Let's see what happens next.

KSA Life

My first day in KSA was a dusty one, I arrived in Dammam Airport and the driver drove to Al Khobar to my hotel. The next day, was just processing of paperworks, such as medical stuff and government procedures. Then we're off to Riyadh

Agencies are like leeches

I was called upon today to sign my contract with an agency for a position in Saudi. I told them that I don't like the package that they are offering. I want them to review my demands and give another offer. Then suddenly out of the blue she told me that I will be going with 4 other engineer, so you can share a flat with them. Then I said "WTF!!!" I don't care about the others, I am negotiating for my own salary package. I was so pissed off that I told them that you don't have the right to reason with me, that's my demand, if you can't give it then I won't take it. Probably they were so devastated that they won't get a penny from me unless I sign the contract. Well booooo hoooooo!!!!
